remote screen not showing - how to solve it?

After a lot of years as TV user I got stuck with a situation. I use it mainly to help my family and now to remotely control my home as I am far far away…

Current scheme of frequent updates and version blockings have removed the possibility to access to some equipments that have not updated.

But here it is not the case. My home PC updated … and got unresponsive … remote screen is not showed in controller PC.

Windows 10 at both sides, latest TV version. I can do file transfers, but remote screen not showing, so I cannot even reboot remote. As I am far and nobody at the house no way to reboot…

I tried to use connection as text remote terminal (such as explained here

Access the Edge Device via Remote Terminal (teamviewer.com)

to no avail. I am not finding that functinallity TV 15; tried to connect using 14, 13, 12 or 11. 10 Not available. No way of connecting as sw says remote sw is higher version and would not connect.

Any way out?

    Please know you can remotely reboot using the shortcut on the remote session toolbar.

    📌Please make sure that you have configured Easy Access before rebooting the device since the remote device is unattended.

    If the problem persists, you can try checking Disable hardware acceleration on the Advanced settings. Click OK to save.
