Connecting to a Mobile device

I use this program to connect to my brother in laws mobile android phone from a Windows 11 computer. Last few times I have remoted in to his phone, I can complete the connection but have no control over his phone. There is no response when I try to click on anything. I have the latest updated version on my end, not sure on his end. If anyone has any thoughts on this and can offer advice, it would b appreciated.

    Please double-check if the mobile device manufacturer is supported - you may need to use our Universal Add-On for Android.

    Hi Carol,

    Thank you for your response. The device I am trying to connect to is on the approved list. I have been using this software to connect to this device for over a year and never had this issue till now. I connect and can view the screen, but have no control.

    I also tried on my phone which is not on the list but I put the Universal Add On on it and I have the same issue when I connect to that. If you have any other suggestions, it would be appreciated.

  • I have the same problem with a Motorola g84 controlled from a Windows 11 PC. It worked (!) the first time in July but everytime after that I could see the screen but not click on any button. My mother can see my mouse pointer on her smartphone but I cannot control it.

    Thanks for the additional information!

    On the local side, Windows 11 PC, please double-check the TeamViewer setting below:

    1. Open TeamViewer Options by right-clicking the TeamViewer icon in the tray menu.

    2. Go to Advanced, Show Advanced Settings

    3. On Advanced settings for connections to other computers, verify if the Access Control is set to Full Access.

    4. If not, select Full Access and OK to save.
