Conflict with migrating account & wake-on-lan...

Hi, so I set up wake-on-lan for my home desktop because I want to be able to use it on my mac while im away at college.

The thing is, one of the requirements for wake-on-lan to work is that the teamviewer client is assigned to the same account you're trying to turn it on from. So I assign my teamviewer client to my account on my desktop…

Then, I go back to my mac, and look at the desktop in my remote devices, and see that it needs to be migrated. I go to migrate it, finalize it, and clear duplicates, then wake-on-lan works only twice before stopping again. It works twice if I don't clear duplicates too, but only twice. It also works twice if I don't finalize the migration at all.

I'm not sure why this is. It's very frustrating because I am not able to confidently figure this out before I leave. Please help explain to me how to keep my account assigned to the client while migrating it.
