How to turn the screen off when connected to an Android device?

I wish to simply press the power button once to turn off the screen and conserve battery while connected using TeamViewer Host. However, I can't seem to find an option for that and nothing seems to be working in order to momentarily turn the screen off. If someone could help me with this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
