web client internet question

does the web client work if both devices are on different networks? and does it work on the free version of teamviewer

    According to our article https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-classic/modules/web-client/ a license is required to use the web client.
    Please know that with the web client it's possible to do outgoing connections, but income connections require TeamViewer Remote or TeamViewer Host to be installed, or TeamViewer QuickSupport running.
    The devices can be in different networks. 😄
