password is showing "-"

Password is not appearing only "-" this appears

    Hello @ndhco,

    Welcome to our TeamViewer Community! Thank you for your first post regarding the missing password.

    As a first approach, could you please check in the settings which selection is made for the random password?

    To do so, please go to the gear wheel, then to the Advanced settings, and open the Security tab.

    Please ensure that for the password strength six or more characters are set under Random password (for spontaneous access).

    In Advanced Settings Under Security tab the setting is already at "8 characters"

    Thanks for getting back to us, @ndhco.

    Let's check two other settings on the remote device.

    1. Please check if the Enable One-Time Access feature is activated. You'll find it directly under the Password strength (gear wheel → Advanced settings → Security). This might also be the reason for the dash instead of the random password. To learn more about this feature, have a look at this Knowledge Base article.

    2. Also, in the Advanced settings, but under Advanced, you'll find the Access control for connections to this computer. Please ensure you do not deny incoming remote control sessions on this device.
    Hint:
    should you use Custom settings, check them also by clicking on Configure…
