Teamviewer ID Changed after MID changed

Dear all,

I have a confused issue about the change of TeamViewer ID…

I accidentally updated a wrong driver for network adapter, so I uninstalled the network adapter, reinstalled it with the correct driver, and then restarted the computer. At this point, the TeamViewer ID changed. I checked the log file, and it shows that the system assigned me a new ID, which seems to be because the MID changed. My questions are:

  1. If the MID changes, a new TeamViewer ID will be generated?
  2. What could have caused the MID to change?
