my device that I always use for remote access shows as offline for 8 days now. Any ideas as to why?

    It has been over 20 years since this has been first mentioned as an issue. I have the same problem on many of my machines that decide they just don't want to play with TV anymore, and they quit until you reinstall the application or else they just say they are offline for weeks at a time. I have scrolled for answers, and found not answers, but posts from 25 March 2004 with the same issue. Please push out an update when possible. Link to referenced comment below.
