Android tv box and teamviewer

it has become very difficult to use the full TeamViewer on android tv boxes. I have elderly family members who are out of town that I was able to help with using TeamViewer. Now, it seems that I am only able to view and cannot remotely control. I don’t know what happened but obviously there was a change somewhere. My question is…. Can anyone recommend an android box that is able to support the full TeamViewer? I’ve tried several boxes and had to return them all. I really need to be in a position to help my relatives….
