Can someone give me a short description of *bleep* TV is doing?
Okay, I rarely use TV. As a consultant, there are times I need it because RDP does not have the access priv's I need. TV fills the void. So after 4+ (maybe longer) months of not using TV, I ran into problems accessing the customer's server.
Item 1: your versions don't match. Umm, which one? The server or my machine? The customer is a multi-billion dollar company with "IT support" - I'll just leave that there. What I am accustomed to is launch my TV app and remote in. It doesn't seem to work any more.
Item 2: I cannot get the TV client to connect. Versions mismatch, no further data. BUT, I can easily use the browser connection. Is this the direction you are moving?
Item 3: TV, you've gone insane with security cross checks. I have 5 virtual machines, a laptop and a main PC I work from. Your new security model of validating every *bleep* IP and what not makes it almost impossible to use your product. Food for thought.
So, main question - is TV moving away from local clients to a web solution?
