Keep getting the "Install limit reached" message when logging in from an approved device!

We've had a business license for several years now. It's the basic license that allows installation on 3 devices. We've installed TeamViewer on 3 devices ONLY. However, frequently, when we try logging into the host (system we're connecting to, right?), we'll receive the "Install limit reached" message. I'll log into our account & check the License page and find the the 3 devices listed haven't changed. So why do we keep getting this message?

I have enough experience with TeamViewer (over 20 years!) to know that installing it on a new device will cause this. But, in this case, no new installs have occured and the Device ID has not changed on any of the 3 devices.

I can understand having such issues with the free version of TV. But we've paid for the license and this should not happen!
