How do I relate Team Viewer ID to the computer using it

I use TV to control some headless computers on my own desk and also to support two of my children.
I have this "master" and four slaves of my own. Two are "headless" Desktop PCs and are generally active and attached, the other two are laptops which are only active if I need them to be - often only to ensure the OS is up to date and perhaps move some spreadsheets across so I can use them outside my home.
Over the years I have rotated the desktops by cannibalising freebies and placing the better bits into the boxes I keep. Also, as a newbie, I probably gave my kids wrong instructions for allowing me to access their computers and may have caused them to create new user IDs.
This has resulted in two surplus TV IDs in my recent connections list (8 connections including this PC). Must be two because there are two more IDs than known computers.
Also, I can see one of my kids' computers named and offline but not the other - a MACBOOK.
What am I doing wrong, how can I identify and remove the redundant keys?
