What's the difference between Device Groups and Groups

In our TeamViewer portal we have Device Groups and Groups. Some PC's are duplicated and are in both but some are only in 1. When I try and remove the duplicate from Device Groups it removes it but when we log into TV application it shows both. How do I remove the duplicate from the app?

    Welcome to our Community and thanks for your question!

    • Groups or Computer and Contact list refers to the old UI/system = TeamViewer (Classic)
    • Device Groups or Devices refers to the new UI/system = TeamViewer Remote

    We highly recommend using the TeamViewer's newest version and the newest UI as well as migrating your devices to device groups.

    You can easily delete duplicate devices in your Groups/Computer and Contact list using the Management Console. Select the device you would like to remove and click on the Delete Selected icon.
