Nvidia Shield TV and Remote access to TV

Hi all,

Interested to know if anyone has been able to remote into a NVidia Shield please, I have installed the TeamViewer app from the playstore on the shield, it asks to install an addon but fails to install saying its incompatiable?

I'm not a paid subscriber just really for a few family and friends, works great on PC but can't really do much to help out my elderly mum on her TV which I would love to be able to do
