Please advise how to remove this message, we have hundreds of machines that we remote daily, multiple times a day, and this message needs to go away.
We have the same ISSUE
Hi @YanCYR & @BAA,
We're happy to welcome you both to our Community!
At TeamViewer, we prioritize the security of our users and their devices. This popup appears when you connect to a remote device with a personal password that is not considered strong enough.
To remove this popup, we invite all the affected users to update the personnal password on the remote devices following these recommendations:
We would also like to point out that fixed passwords can bring some risks to your device and data. To explore more secure alternatives offered by TeamViewer, please check out our Blog post:
For any questions or clarifications, please come back to us!
Best,
Jen
We are using a password with more than 8 characters so i ask again the same question YanCYR asked. How do we stop and prevent this pop up. I am also using team viewer policy management to affect changes with security and access so this is an intrusive pop up, one that removes unattended access if a well meaning employee changes the password after the fac and then "Forgets" what they changed it to.
We have the same issue. Our password is extremely strong (more than 15 characters) and used on hundreds of devices by many team members. We do not want to OR need to change the password. We need TeamViewer to stop nagging us about something that does not need our attention. There needs to be a setting or ability to stop displaying this annoying message on all devices immediately. Changing the password is not a solution by any means. And it's not guaranteed to work either - we currently get nagged to change our super strong password - they might as well nag us the day after we change it to a new one again. It's not anyone else's decision other than the paying customers' decision like me, whether or not they wish to change their password. THIS NEEDS TO STOP.
