Managed Devices Left on Account

When I was with my former employer who used TeamViewer, I had added my personal account as a device manager on a couple devices. Now, I want to remove those devices from the personal account, but it says I can't with the following error:

Since you’re the last assigned manager or have no edit rights for the selected devices, you cannot remove yourself as manager of these devices.

However, I am not with the org anymore and would prefer them to be gone from my account. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Regarding to the device permissions, may I double check with you if these devices are for private uses or corporate uses?

If they are for corporate uses, I will suggest adding a new device manager from your former employer, then you may move the permission to the new device manager, so you may delete your account afterwards. Can you check again on the devices and device permission and get back to the post please.

I am not in communication with the staff at the former employer any more for various reasons. The devices were for corporate use connected to an account that had a corporate license.
