Here's an idea, don't make a great product worse!

Please GET RID of the orange border and the "End Session" box that as a remote user (I am not a free user by the way!!!), should be able to click the "Got it" button, but I cannot. It doesn't work, and is taking up valuable real estate. Hey! Some computers do not have monitors attached to them, so it would be nice to actually click the "Got it" button to acknowledge the fact that I'd like that space back.

Come on, dev team! Fix this, because it's annoying, and pointless! If TeamViewer is going to be my favorite and best product, I need that box to leave!

I am having the same issue. I am a paid user and work as a contractor for my customers. We use TeamViewer to remotely connect to servers where there is no user on the other end. Please remove the orange border and "End Session" box.

As I mainly log in to headless systems, this stupid banner makes me have to run away with application windows under it.

And I'm paying for it! Well done me!

As a licensed user, please double-check the steps to disable the screen indicator.
Also, please keep in mind the screen indicator is for attended sessions (e.g. QuickSupport, session code, prompt for confirmation sessions).

I completely agree with the complaints mentioned above. It's infuriating to pay a premium for a product that's deteriorating in quality and usability.

The screen indicator issue is a major problem. As a licensed user connecting to a technically licensed device, such as a remote server, we can't simply click "Got it" and proceed. Disabling it on the client device isn't an option either, since it's a VM or headless device. A simple registry edit would be a welcome solution.

Further pain points:

It's frustrating that Teamviewer forces users to sign up for an account during installation, despite knowing that the client app is often used for remote assistance by professionals. The new interface is also poorly designed and has forced us to edit the registry on all our devices to default to the old interface, which actually works.

Given the numerous complaints on forums, it's surprising that Teamviewer hasn't acknowledged their mistakes and reverted to the old interface as default. Additionally, they should make Microsoft Edge WebView optional, as few users need the IoT feature.

The worst part is Teamviewer's support response, which dismisses complaints with a generic "refer to our KB" without offering any solutions or workarounds. This gaslighting approach only frustrates clients further. Teamviewer needs to recognize legitimate concerns and take responsibility for their mistakes.

As someone who switched from **Third Party Product** after it changed ownership and deteriorated in quality, I'm disappointed to see Teamviewer heading down the same path. If things don't improve, it may be time to consider another alternative.
