No validation email for trusted device comes through.

Hello,

My problem is that when I try on an ubuntu server to grant easy access to teamviewer-host application, I sign in with my credentials and no email comes through to add it as a trusted device. In the past I had succeeded with this on the same machine. I need to readd it as a trusted device after an upgrade signed me out.

Are you still having the issue of receiving the trust device emails?
Please make sure you have the TeamViewer domain (@teamviewer.com) on your allowed list. You can also add the TeamViewer account that sends the message as a contact and try again.

Hello,

I'm still having a problem. My OS is Ubuntu 24.04 Server. There is no issue in my email service, it's just Gmail, that has always been working. By the way, to write this message here in this forum I had to validate my Gmail account and the email came as usually, so its only the TeamViewer-Hosts application that doesn't send emails after the upgrade to the latest version. Please make other suggestions.

Hello again,

I just reinstalled my Windows 11 Teamviewer client application and the validation was done correctly. The email came through just fine and I validated my trusted device. So the problem seems to be either with the linux version or something on my server. What else can I do?

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Just to make sure I understood the issue: when you login with your account on Ubuntu 24.04 you don't receive the Trust Device email but on all other devices that you login you receive it, or you're getting the email but the email doesn't work?
