Hi everyone,
I’m posting here because, unfortunately, I can’t contact TeamViewer support directly — apparently, reporting a bug is only available to paying customers.
I find this a bit ironic, as this issue seems pretty serious and could easily affect any user, free or paid.
Here’s the problem:
I discovered that TeamViewer is using over 103 GB of space on my system drive, in this folder:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\TeamViewer\EdgeBrowserControl\Temporary
Right now, this folder contains:
- 848,355 files
- 658,780 folders
- Total size: 103 GB+
From what I can tell, this is some kind of temporary browser-related cache or storage — but it clearly doesn’t get cleaned up automatically.
I believe this is a serious flaw that deserves attention, even from a free user perspective. It's not normal for any application to silently eat up that much space over time.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Hope someone from the team sees this.
Thanks!
