Unattended access stopped working

I have over the the last 2 years helped a blind friend by logging in and making sure his radio streaming app is playing on his tablet. I have installed host on his samsung tablet and up to last week I could log in from my phone without him having grant access, now it wont let me log in until he has accepted which is impossible as he is blind and I can no longer fix his tablet for him. Can someone please help, I dont know what has changed.

Thanks for your first post in our Community, and we're sorry to hear about the issue you encountered with unattended access.

There is a chance that updates on TeamViewer or on the tablet OS caused the Host to prompt for accepting the connection again.
If you get access to the device, you would need to double-check the unattended access set-up, but we understand the challenge of getting started with this connection faced by your friend as a person with a visual impairment.

Do you know if your friend has screen reader software on their tablet? The new TeamViewer Remote is much more friendly for screen readers than the old Classic interface. This should assist your friend in accepting the connection if they can't rely on anyone for local help.

We would also appreciate it if you could provide us with more details about the device, OS, and TeamViewer version, so we could try to simulate the issue on our side.
