How does just deleting and adding a device set up unattended access?
How is unattended access different from easy access?
I had a device, which has a box to tick saying "allow easy access"
However then an article on "allow unattended access" on the site said to do something completely different.
As though they were two different things.
Not very clear at all. Seems to be working now, except it think I need commercial licence all the time.
Hi @wcndave,
Thank you for visiting the TeamViewer Community, and that’s a great question!
Long story short—Easy Access and unattended access refer to the same feature in the TeamViewer context.
Easy Access is a way to start TeamViewer without needing a TeamViewer ID, password, or manual approval from the remote side. To set this up, you need to manage your device once. After that, you can easily start a remote session with the specific device by clicking: Device > the managed device's name > Easy Access as shown in the image below.
If you're interested in how to set up and start Easy Access to enjoy an unattended session, this article will be helpful:
👉️Provide unattended remote support
