Hi,
I'm pulling out my hair on something which seems to be easy but not working like annonced in KB (https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/devices/apply-manager-permissions-at-group-level/).
Here is my setup :
- Teamviewer Corporate
- 2000+ computers organized in more than 50 device groups.
- 2 user groups : "admins" and "technicians"
- We deploy Teamviewer client using "rollout setup" and put all new devices in a specific device group.
- Devices are then renamed and moved to other groups by technicians
- We are using new interfaces : https://web.teamviewer.com/management-portal
I want to define managers only on this specific device group, so as soon as a new device is added, manager permissions are automatically applied.
I don't want to user manager permissions in the roll-out setup for 2 reasons :
- Groups are not handled
- Our managers sometime change
When configured, a new device is added in the device group but the manager permissions are not inherited at all.
Regards,
Edouard
