Team Viewer version 15.70.2 (windows) not minimize to tray when start with computer
Solution: Switch to RᴜsᴛDᴇsᴋ 😂
It is same issue with 15.70.3 (windows 10).
After upgrading to that version teamviewer now pops up in the middle of the screen and wont go to the tray by itself until closed with close button.
It was never like so (using TV for 15+ years here) and started being so after upgrading to 15.70.3 (was on 15.69.x before this). It was always starting up in the background, without anyone needing to close it to the tray manually.
Hi, I have the same problem…
i use TeamViewer on one PC and two laptops.
All of them are Version 15.70.3
No Insider-Builds
i also noticed that the setting "Close to tray menu" (in German "Ins Traymenü schließen") is checked and greyed out.
Hi I'm using TV from many years, and I know this configuration but problem is when TV starting with windows previous version, started with windows minimized to tray, actual verion started maximized Marek
Hi @maareeq,
Welcome to the TeamViewer Community😊
It appears you're currently using the Beta version of TeamViewer. Please note that this is a test release, and we’re actively working to enhance its functionality.
To keep TeamViewer running in the background, go to the settings and enable “Close to tray menu.” Once selected, TeamViewer will remain in the system tray after closing the main window.
Here, we’d like to clarify how the “Close to tray menu” option works in TeamViewer’s settings.
🔹 When enabled (ticked): After launching the TeamViewer app, it will initially appear as a window. If you manually close it using the ✖ button in the top-right corner, the app will continue running in the background. You’ll still see the TeamViewer icon in your system tray, allowing you to reopen the app quickly.
🔹 When disabled (unticked): If you close the app from the top-right corner, it will fully exit and disappear from the system tray.
If you're looking for a feature that allows TeamViewer to start minimized to the tray automatically (without showing the main window at launch), you're welcome to share your idea in the Idea Hub on the Community. It’s a space where users can suggest new features and vote on others’ ideas.
If I’ve misunderstood your point, feel free to let me know!☺️
