The message 'Not Ready. Please check you connection' appears on the bottom of the screen and the rest of the screen is greyed out. The system does not even display my ID
This happens when your computer cannot reach the TeamViewer servers. There a few things that could cause this problem.
Did TeamViewer work before and recently stop?
Are you using a VPN or firewall that may be blocking *.teamviewer.com ?
I have used TeamViewer on this machine manty times. It is one of three licences and I hve a fibre op[tic connectuion tpot eh Internet. Profile is an Intenet-n=based business solution so Internet access is critical tot eh business so I would know if I never had an Internet connection.
