ubuntu open teamviewer in the system tray

I'd like to open teamviewer on startup (in ubuntu 16.04)  but I don't want the teamviewer window to dominate my screen.      There's presumably some way to open it, and either iconify the window or, preferably, send it to the system tray (or stalonetray) e.g., using "alltray" but I've been unable to get it to work.  Could somebody advise how to do this please?

Thanks very much, Leo
