Recording stops when switching sides

Why does this happen? This seems to be a major negative with TeamViewer that other platforms don't have.

I do online training which I record for my customers. I frequently switch sides between their PC and mine, But every time, I switch, recording stops.

For this reason, I have to use Camtasia. I'd prefer to use Teamviewer's recording feature though as it can be complex getting everything working together. Once, I recorded the Teamviewer session in Camtasia and found that due to a bad setting, it had only recorded my customer's voice.

How do you raise such issues as improvement wants with the Teamviewer team?
