Installation problem on Macbook pro

Hello guys, I have an issue with Teamviewer installation process on my MacBook Pro. It's a .dmg file directly downloaded from the official website. The installation was never completed. It's hanging on the dock from the last couple of days. All it say's "installation in progress". It's very annoying and doesn't know how to fix it. It's started to affect my other applications as well, iTerm and Terminal which are not launching either. When I tried to restart Mac, I'm getting a warning message, "YOUR COMPUTER CAN'T BE RESTARTED NOW BECAUSE SOFTWARE IS BEING INSTALLED". TeamViewer is being installed, interrupting the install may damage your computer. You can restart when the install is complete. Please Advise asap. Thank you.
