Will a cheap chrome book work as the local computer?

Hi,

I want to use a cheap computer with big battery life as the  local TeamViewer computer, something like this...

https://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/asus-c301-13-3-chromebook-grey-10168226-pdt.html

Is that powerful enough? The remote computer that I will be connecting to is very powerful, but I don't know how much processing power the local computer needs. And also, will TeamViewer work fine on Chrome OS or do I need to be looking for a Windows laptop?

Thanks in advance!

Tim
