Blizz app users are not recorded
Hey community,
maybe we also did something wrong, but after we had a blizz audio conference today i reposted the recorded meeting to everyone else in the team, who could not participate. Two people from our team complained, that they were not recorded at all. In our case both persons used the smartphone app and I also checked the record tape - the result: Silence on the record whenever a smartphone-user spoke. Does anyone else can reproduce that? We will check it again next week in our weekly scrum and also with the new blizz version (call was before i updated my client today).
Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Recording a user that uses the Android app is currently not implemented.
You can use the following workaround:- Join the meeting with your Blizz app to see the shared screen, make sure to be muted inside the app.
- Then dial into the meeting with one of the phone numbers, that we provide for Germany (or the country you're in). Inside the app, tap the phone number to dial in, so you don't need to manually copy it.
- When you're being asked if you want to be recorded, press the correct number to agree.
- Set the phone call to speaker mode and whilst the call is going on you can switch back into the app, see the shared screen and participate.

iOS seems to work. Issue is related to Android only.

Just to make sure: A dial-in participant must agree on the recording (he is getting asked). If he does not, he is not being recorded.

Hi, is recording for the Android app implemented by now?
If not that'll be a huge set back for us.
Thanks.

We have not planned yet to provide recording from mobile. You need to use the Windows or Mac OS client to start and access the recording.
Mobile user's audio would be part of the recording if they accepted it.
We will work on the whole recording scenario most liklely next year.
