How To Remotely Connect?
This new ver 13, intuitive. Yeah. In the old version, the person you wanted to connect with simply went to a URL which gave him a UN & password. I entered that on my client. Simples.
Now what do you have to do? In idiot language and ALL steps, please.
- I want to connect to my Son's computer.
- I have an account, and I'm logged in.
Thank you

Thank you Esther. Here's what I'm trying to do.
I have the full version installed, my Son for god knows why doesn't want to install the full version which would obviously make things simple. He's a Millennial, 'nuff said.
I remember at one time you could have TeamViewer installed then have the person you wanted to connect to go to a Team Viewer website, get a one time password and give it to me. Is that still viable? If so, what's the URL?
Thanks again

HI @JBurnett
Yes - the QuickSupport is still available.
Here are three easy ways of starting the connection:
1. Ask your son to go to connect.teamviewer.com
The TeamViewer QuickSupport module will be downloaded automatically (depends a bit on his browser) and he can open the file instantly. He just needs to give you his TeamViewer ID and password shown on the module. And so you can connect.
2. You can find the file in the download area: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/ and your son can download the QuickSupport from here.
3. Or you can just ask your son to go to https://get.teamviewer.com
In this case: The easiest way to quickly connect to your son is by creating a session code in your Computers & contacts list and send him a direct invitation.
TeamViewer even writes the mail for you incl. the correct Session ID:
You get a session-contact in your list and it will turn "green" as soon as you son starts the module. And so you can connect!
That´s it :-)
Looking forward to get your feedback, which method you and your son prefer!
Thanks and all the best,
Esther
