Unable to do a remote update

If i click on the remote update button nothing happens except an error message.

In log:
TVUpdate::OnDownloadFinishedVersionFile() failed - CInetDownload::ThreadRun - ErrorSendRequest 12029, , Errorcode 997

I do not know what that means or how to solve that error.

Maybe anyone out here can help me.

tells Windows XP SP3 with IE 8.0 as supported for Teamviewer 3-13.

But why is Teamviewer 9 not able to do any remote update?
Why do those error messages have to be that cryptic?
