Initializing Display Parameters... same problem for months

Has anyone ever found a concrete solution to the problem of TV hanging on the Initializing Display Parameters login screen? I have been having this issue with different TV versions for months now, with no luck on finding a way to fix it. It seems like this would be a top priority for the TV team, since the issue seems to be very prevalent across thier user base.

I am about to cancel my subscription and find an alternative solution for remote connections, as I feel like paying for something that only works fifty percent of the time is a waste... Just wanted to reach out to the community here first.
