Does VPN uses channel slot?
Hello,
I have this question: does VPN via teamviewer uses your channel slot? For example you connect to your work network via teamviewer VPN, can other people still connect to clients, if you have 1 channel (busness or premium plan)? I was searching in forums, wrote to support, tho still haven't got an answer.
Best Regards,
Aurimas

Hi Aurimas,
Thank you for your post.
Any type of TeamViewer connection will take up one of your channels.
It does not matter whether you start a remote control session, host a meeting or connect via VPN. In all of these cases, you will be using a session channel. If your licence includes one channel, your colleagues would therefore have to wait for you to finish your remote control session, meeting or VPN connection before they would be able to connect for their part.
I hope this is helpful. If you have any other questions regarding session channels, be sure to let me know!
All the best,
Katharina
