I use several different computers in my home/office to access my main computer in my upstairs office. The computer that I am currently on is a rather up-to-date Windows 10 HP Envy. I have used this computer quite often while sitting on my porch and communicating with my main computer. Everything seems to work fine except for one thing. When I type an "*" or a "+" sign (and there could be more characters), it will NOT show up. Say I want to increment a counter ( ie. counter = counter + 1), the plus sign would NOT appear in the workspace, (ie counter = counter 1) Normally, when this happens, I will copy the plus sign from another source and paste it into the formula. Does anyone know why this is happening?
