Connecting to partner computer

I sent an invite to another person and they installed TV on their computer. They tell me it is started on their computer and gave me an ID and PW, but when I try to connect it says "Teamviewer not running on partner computer". Is there something special they need to do so it is running on their machine? We are new to TV and trying to coordinate files so I can work on them for the other person.

Maybe the person on the other side gave you a wrong ID.

Please make sure the person gives you the ID which is displayed in the section Remote Control under Your ID:
