TeamViewer 14 Mac slow launch

Brand new Mac mini 2018, i7 processor, 32 GB RAM. Running macOS 10.14.2 (and now 10.14.3).

Paid Business account. 

TeamViewer 14 takes a very long time to launch. I counted 24 bounces of the app icon in the Dock from clicking it to the main TeamViewer window opening. Updated to the latest v14 app release,  14.1.025, makes no difference. 

Is this normal behavior? Very annoying.
