Remote Windows

When connected to a remote laptop or desktop from my laptop, is there a way to let them see the file transfer screen? And let them see what I'm doing as far as browsing thru their computer to solve a problem or them see me installing a program, etc? Let them see everything I'm doing instead of them just waiting and not seeing me do anything wondering if I'm even still there?
