Hide/Block Monitoring, Endpoint and Backup in UI
Hi
Is there any way to prevent users access to see or click on "Monitor Device", "Protect Device" and "Backup Device" in the TeamViewer 14 app UI? A registry setting for example?
Thanks

Hi @tvJM,
Thank you for your post.
Currently, it is not possible to prevent users to click on the Remote Management functionalities in the UI.
I will forward this to our product management.
I'm not able to tell you, if or when this feature would be implemented. But your feedback is really important, because we want to develop TeamViewer as close as possible to the wishes of our users.
For this reason, we are really happy about your suggestions.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Have a great day and all the best,

Hi Natascha
Thank you for the quick response. It would be great to hide features from users as it prevents additional queries.
As administrators we know what is available, so from a product standpoint, in an enterprise environment end users do not need to know.
More UI control for enterprise would be a good option.
Thanks

Hi @tvJM,
Thank you for your reply and the "Accepted Solution"
If your users start a trial period for Remote Management, the trial runs 14 days and afterwards it expires without any action from you. So you don't have to worry if your users click on it by accident - just to let you now.
Thank you for your feedback and have a great week.
All the best,

The fact they can click on the link is a problem, the fact they can take out the trial, is a bigger concern.
Enterprise management requires more strict end user control.

Any update on this feature request?
We should be able to globally hide all such entry points for features that AREN'T ACTIVE in our account? Otherwise our service desk users are going to try and use them and of course they're not Company Administrators. This will only cause annoyance all round - NOT extra sales for TeamViewer.
