Remote stopped working after latest update

I've been using TV for several years. I just updated to the latest version on both machines (both running Mac 10.14) and I no longer can control the remote Mac. I can see the screen and tell the other person what to do but my mouse does not do anything on the remote.

I've already allowed TV to control the computer on both Macs in the accesability section of "Security & Privacy" and the romote Mac has not disabled the cursor.

What am I doing wrong?
