I use TeamViewer to commnicate with my daughter very often. Both my daughter and I installed a free-version of non-commercial-use-only TeamViewer (currently version 14.2) on our separate laptop computers. Whenever my daughter wants to a TeamViewer session with me, she would run TeamViewer on her laptop computer frist. She then email me her TeamViewer ID and password. On my end, after receiving her ID and password, I would run TeamViewer on my laptop computer and then select Remote Control to access her computer. On my end (i.e., on my TeamViewer panel at the bottom right corner of my computer monitor), I was able to turn on or off the video and audio options on my TeamViewer panel. On her end, however, it used to be that she was also able to turn on or off the video and audio options on her TeamViewer panel (on the bottom right corner of her computer monitor). I am unsure what happend recently. However, during our recent TeamViewer sessions, sometime she was unable to find the video and audio options on her TeamViewer panel (located at the bottom-right corner of her computer). That is, after I have started a Remote-Control TeamViewer session with her laptop computer, on her end, her TeamViewer panel, sometimes there will be video and audio options (i.e., icons) for her to turn on her video or audio to me, whereas other times, those options (i.e., icons) were not shown. We both are very confused and are wondering what have we done wrong to cause the video and audio options (i.e., icons) to disappear on her end. For clarity, a snapshoot of her TeamViewer panel (after I have initiated a remote control session with her laptop computer) is attached below for your review.
If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Fuh
