Thank you for your post.
In your case, please see following checks:
- Is your internet connection working? (Both a local device and a endpoint device.)
- Can you check if restarting the TeamViewer service helps for both of devices?
- Can TeamViewer reach the internet?
If not, please open Port 5938 for outgoing connections.

Hi Yuri,
This matter is now resolved. The problem was not with Teamviewer but rather with an internet outage across majority of South Africa's ISP's.
