mass deployment problems, icon and updating

We've been trying to update our scripts to install the latest version of TeamViewer 14 and have been following this guide to do so.**Please do not post TeamViewer IDs**

Using the configID and API token, the install will assign to our account and installs the custom host module with the correct settings. However, after installing the program is unable to check for updates and the icon on the desktop does not show the version number (just says TeamViewer instead of TeamViewer 14). Clicking on "check for new version" does nothing, and when connected to the machine clicking on "remote update" also does nothing.

I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find anyone having these issues.

    Have you tried uninstall TeamViewer after the deployment?
