Why is Teamviewer sending data to the Russian Federation?

i have noticed that teamviewer is sending data to servers in the Russian Federation (**Please do not post IP Addresses** & **Please do not post IP Addresses**)

Can anyone let me know why this would be?

I have also noticed this and I don't like it.

Teamviewer is on my block list unless I need it from now on...
