VPN Quick Support

Hi,

I have a corporate teamviewer licence and I am providing QuickSupport to the computer I need to connect to.

However I need to use the VPN feature and it's grayed out on my computed like the QuickSupport client doesn't seems to support this feature.... On my computer the driver is installed, but on the QuickSupport client I don't see the option to install it...

Do I need to install the full version instead of QuickSupport on the other end?

Thank you

JP

    Hello @celdauray

    Thank you for your message.

Solution : Indeed, you will need a full version on the other side.

You will find all the information you need in our Knowledge Base article here: About TeamViewer VPN

I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to ask your questions here.

    Cheers

    Hi,

@JeanK is there now the possibility to activate it, or is still the full version required?

    Hello @sbaum,

Welcome to the TeamViewer Community! 🚀

There is still the full version required in this case, and I think this will not change anytime soon, as the VPN driver requires the TeamViewer service to be running (with QuickSupport, no TeamViewer service is running in the background).

I hope this could at least answer your question. 🙂
