Hello everyone

Today Teamviewer shut down on me during in the midst of a File Transfer of 1.85 GB (yes I know it is a lot) and normally, I do not have this huge file size. I usually do not even transfer more tha 300 MB.

I use Tramviewer a lot to help others with their PCs. and so far I have been more than happy with the free version. But this... I am lost for words! Now we have to do it again,  after we had about half of this folder transfered over. And I am sure next time we will encounter the same Problem.

I give my time and help for free and Teamviewer just did not want to work with me. Teamviewer should NOT break connection during a File transfer. Normally i do not  care, I just reconnect. During a File transfer this should just NOT happen.

What do I have to do to avoid this? Maybe there is a trick I do not know about.

Any help or tip is greatly appreciated and I thank everyone in advance for their                        help and support on this issue.

With Kindest regards

Kathrin

Could I recommend, for a file transfer like that, that you use a differenct service such as https://send.firefox.com or https://wetransfer.com

They shouldn't cut you off during a file transfer but there could have been external or unseen issues, a break in network connection for instance, that caused the break. TeamViewer normally offers a very reliable service, as I'm sure you have experienced in the past.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND REFUSE TO ISSUE REFUNDS! They require a 28 day cancellation before contract ends buried in the contract.  Please don't sign up for the paid version.  Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!
