License not working

I have a forever license that's good for up to TV 10. Because of this, I'm running version 10 on my local machine and the remote machine. Now when I try to access it I get a message saying "The remote TeamViewer is running an old version which is out of date. Therefore you cannot connect to this Version anymore. Your connection partner can update TeamViewer by click on "Help" - "Check for new version".

Any information on a fix would be appreciated.

    Thank you for your post.
    Please make sure that you are signing into the account that is associated with your license on the software before connecting to the machine.

    Otherwise your TeamViewer seems to be recognized as free version.
