cant update mac client get following error

Hi Try the following:

* Warning: It is a safe measure to back up your computer before doing this step.

Reset folder permissions

Open your home folder, right-click on the home folder and select Get Info. Click on the lock icon ? in the lower right and type in your password so it unlocks ?.

Then click on gear menu ⚙ and select Apply to enclosed items....

 Check if this fixes your issue. You can try rebooting as well.
