Connect and Abort

I am using Teamviewer 14 on laptop with Windows 10, I have put in the ID and when I click connect it says Abort and reverts back to connect so it doesn't allow me to put in the password any suggestions of what I can do?

Thank you for your message.
I recommend you to restart the TeamViewer service on both sides of the connection.
-Execute run, type services.msc and press OK
-Now find TeamViewer, and restart it by doing a right-click.
Then, restart the TeamViewer application. It should work again.
