change video source to Panasonic HC-V770 (via Capture Card)

Dear Community,
We are looking to organise virtual classes with TeamViewer Online Meeting. Instead of using the built-in webcam of the host (tutor) laptop, we would like to use our Panasonic HD cam (HC-V770). In the settings for video source, I cannot select the HD cam even though it is connected to my PC. Has anyone experience with this?
It might be that the camera simply does not support this, maybe I could use a HDMI Capture card as workaround but I do not think TeamVIewer will support this.
