Remote computer freezes when you begin to type

I'm using TeamViewer 12 on Mac with Sierra and accessing a Mac Server running Server 10.5.8.

I've accessed this Server for a while now but all of a sudden TeamViewer freezes when I try to type anything. If I exit the session and then initiate again, I can navigate TeamViewer until I try to type again and then it starts all over.
